Foreword I: The chapter of a change of heart
The chapter of Unforming states that "Extremely obscene guys turn out to be women. Extremely violent guys turn out to be fierce tigers."
The people with obscene hearts will turn out to be women. The people with violent minds will turn out to be fierce tigers. The people with vicious hearts will turn out to be snakes and scorpions (those scorpions are poisonous insects in Northern China). The people with cunning hearts will turn out to be macaques (those macaques are more crafty than foxes). The people with greedy hearts will turn out to be flies and maggots (those maggots are parasitized in rotten animal bodies). The people with talkative and noisy words will turn out to be cicadas. The lazy people will turn out to be geese. The above descriptions are all metaphors to show the change of hearts of likely animals that all attribute to greedy hearts.
The people's minds are easily affected by the environment and cause emotional fluctuations. It seems like listening to wonderful music. The sound suddenly is suppressed or raised up, continuous or stopped, desolate or clear. The sound changes its tones into fantastic and clear rhythms filled with admirations while reaching the limitedless boundary. The sound is loud and clear like the fallen cracked stones on the cliffs. The higher and further sound is like the collapse of clouds on the bold precipice. The wonderful sound makes minds open and happy. It makes you great while feeling happy. It makes you desperate while feeling sorrow. That all attributes to the change of hearts. It changes and must be changed by heart.
Exercising Waitankung is a change of heart. We exercise ourselves within the way of heaven. We benefit people within the way of humans. The main purpose of exercising Waitankung is to be careful about your words and deeds. The exercisers of Waitankung said that it is an awesome kung fu. It calms down and turns out to be empty. While emptiness, the Chi can open and reach hundreds of meridians and it can catch the inner supreme beauties like old clams hiding pearls. Can't people understand this situation of inner beauties? Therefore, we should abolish greed and hold the inner beauties while exercising Waitankung. Then we can reach up the ways of heaven and touch down the ways of humans. It is not only good for ourselves but also good for our descendants.
About the emptiness of Waitankung, extreme emptiness will result in spirit. Extreme spirit will result in vitality. Combining vitality and mentality together will exercise and formalize the whole body (the Chi exercises the body). This will result in being a higher immortal god or at least getting a healthy body with long lives. It makes you happy for the later years of your lives.
