Movement 12: Pulling Grass (Left)
A: Title
The Movement of Pulling Grass (Left).
B: Methods
Stand still. Bend your body and head toward the ground vertically. Your two elbows align with your two knees. Stretch out your two arms downward. The fingers are stretched out loosely toward the feet back. Lift up your hips. Straighten your neck. Look at your groins. Sound Heng while bending your body and moving your fingers toward the feet back, with the palms being opposite to each other.
Then lift up your head and arms. Stretch your left hand upward from your left ear while turning your left palm toward right. Squat your body and look ahead horizontally. Stretch your right hand toward the ground with the right palm toward left while sounding Ha. Sounding Heng means inhaling while bending your head down, and sounding Ha means exhaling while stretching your arms upward and downward respectively.
This movement belongs to one of the Heng Ha Calisthenics.
