Movement 2: Arms Swinging
A: Title
The Movement of Squatting and Arms Swinging in Longevity, in the short title as The Movement of Arms Swinging, or Arms Swinging.
B: Abstract
Harmonize activities of the whole body to promote the blood circulation smoothly. Stretch out arms and legs loosely and get a vivid spirit.
C: Methods
- Move your left foot outward by half a step to align with the edges of your outer shoulders. Straighten up your waist and sit down your body by 20 or 45 degrees. The back of head and the spine tail are aligned vertically. Two knees are aligned remotely. The toes are upright to the heels.
- Lift up and expand your arms forward and horizontally. Ten fingers are stretched out loosely. The hand back and the shoulders are at the same level. See Picture 03.
- Turn your two wrists. Your two palms face each other. Press the left pad (called the tiger mouth) between the thumb and index finger by the right palm for two seconds. Hold on the left hand and turn down the wrist of the right hand under the left hand. Then press the right tiger mouth by the left palm for two seconds. Separate your two palms apart and face your two palms down.
- Two feet thrust against the ground. Internally open your crotches. Straighten your arms. Two arms then swing backward with bending your upper body forward in 15 or 45 degrees. Bow your head and make your neck and two knees straight. Two feet thrust against the ground again and swing your arms back forward into the original position, like sitting on the chair.
- Repeat steps 3 to 4 to continue swinging your arms backward and forward. Swinging arms backward and forward is counted as a swing. It is enough to make nine swings. After the ninth swing, lift up your two arms ahead while loosely stretched. Two hand backs and shoulders are at the same level while ten fingers stretched loosely. It makes the Original Chi like the electricity start to circulate from the arms to the shoulders in a cycle lasting at least for thirty seconds or more times. Then press your left tiger mouth with the right palm. In addition, press your right tiger mouth with the left palm. Two hands separate apart and palms face down with ten fingers stretched loosely. Then the feet thrust against the ground and swing your arms away backward.
- The hands are stretched loosely after swinging your arms away backward. Two hands are held upside down like holding a ball in one's hands. It activates the Original Chi to circulate and vibrate in streaming starting from hands, arms and shoulders. The streaming looks like the waves, which waves after another wave for thirty seconds. Then turn your body back into a right and normal position and move back your left foot aligned with the edges of inner shoulders.
D: Remarks
- The feet are like tree roots.
- The hands are like fallen leaves.
- The arms and legs are easy and smooth.
- You will still be strong although you are old-aged.
