Movement 10: Waist Bending (Left)
A: Title
The Movement of Waist Bending (Left).
B: Methods
The feet align with the edges of outer shoulders. Bending your upper body ahead downward (like bowing 90 degrees). Make your left fist with the fist eye toward ahead and the fist fingers touching down on the ground. Stretch and touch your left arm down on the ground gradually while sounding Heng in the meanwhile. Sounding Heng means inhaling which makes Chi move to the kidneys from your lower abdomen. Make your right fist and bend your elbow while hanging down your right fist under the right knee with the fist eye toward ahead. The eyes look ahead and the head is upward. The two knees also can be bent. See Picture 10.
Lift up your upper body upright and take back your two fists while exhaling and sounding Ha to move the Chi back to your lower abdomen. Hand down your hands beside your thighs naturally. Heng means inhale and Ha means exhale.
