Movement 5: Vertical Arms Stretching

A: Title

The Movement of Supporting Sky and Press Earth by Immortals, in the short title as The Movement of Vertical Arms Stretching, or Vertical Arms Stretching.

B: Abstract

  1. Harmonize activities of shoulders and your back.
  2. Dredge your chest and heart openly.
  3. Enhance your sight.
  4. Increase your vitality while exercising day by day for a long time.

C: Methods

  1. Lift up your left hand by the left side with fingers stretching, palms and hands outward. Move your left hand to pass by your shoulders and stretch your left hand above your head. The hand back faces your head. The five fingers of the left hand map to the right shoulder. Raise up your head slightly and look at your left hand back. At the same time, the right hand presses the earth while stretching your five fingers with finger tips toward ahead. The right hand is close to your right thigh.
  2. Count nine numbers silently. Press two hands one time for each count. The whole body takes no force. After counting nine numbers, two hands will vibrate automatically by Original Chi. Take the time for thirty seconds or more by your own condition.
  3. After thirty seconds, switch to the right hand supports heaven and the left hand presses earth. The method is the same as the ones of steps 1 to 2. The time of vibration will last thirty seconds.

D: Remarks

  1. Stretch your arms and shoulders softly.
  2. Ease your tendons.
  3. Open your chest and abdomen smoothly.
  4. Clear your stomach and intestines fluently.
